Procedure to help people to have the courage to try new things

1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes.

2. Allow yourself to focus on the new experience.

3. At the same time, tap using the right palm, the front of your abdomen, between your tummy button and the base of your rib cage.

4. Continue tapping until you feel calm about trying this new experience.

5. Know that you will have the ability to cope well with any situation you choose to experience.

6. Know that as long as you choose only positive thoughts about this experience – you will cope as well as you can and will be able to learn new skills.

7. If you continue to worry, refer to the procedure which helps people to eliminate worrying.

8. Accept that there is only one thing which stops people achieving - that is their negative thinking about their abilities.
